Bittersweet
Today you sent me this text message:
"I want to think that somewhere out there in the universe, on a planet exactly like ours, two people exactly like you and me made very different choices and that, somewhere, we're still together.
That's enough for me."
I did not reply lest you interpret it the way you want to interpret it and give you false hopes. So, I'll just put it here.
You'll still feel like this tomorrow and the day after that. But, one day I won't be that person for you anymore. You'll laugh about it. Someday you'll acknowledge the part I played in your growth. One day you will have moved on.
Believe me, because I have.
